For two decades Stella Jones Gallery has played a pivotal role in highlighting the historical relevance of Black Art.

Elizabeth Catlett Residence Hall dedicated on July 28, 2017, seventy-seven years after she was denied living on campus as an African American. Catlett went on to become the first black woman to earn a Master of Fine Arts Degree in America.
