Harry Wade Jones transitioned on March 30, 2013, surrounded by his loving wife, Stella Pinkney Jones, M.D. and his children, Brigette Jones-McGeathy, D.D.S., Kali C. Jones of Washington, D.C., Shaunna D. Jones and Harry Wade-Pinkney Jones, both of New York. Son of the late Albert Sr. & Mary Jones, he is the brother of Albert Jones, Jr. of Houston, Texas Irene Rawls of Galveston, Texas and the late Bronson Jones and Dolores Thibodeaux. Brother-in-law of Joann Jones, Isaac & Carlean Pinkney, Dorothy Davis, Bill & Margaret Stroud, and Lester Pinkney, all of Houston, Texas; Stanley & Jackie Pinkney of Englewood, California; Michael & Tonda Pinkney of West Palm Beach. Son-in-law of the late Isaac Sr. & Mamie Pinkney. Father-in-law of Norman McGeathy, III, D.D.S. Also, "Grandee" will be well-remembered by his three beautiful grand-daughters, Lea, Madison and Megan McGeathy. Born in Galveston, Texas, Harry maintained residences in Houston and New Orleans with an active career in real estate appraisal; finally, moving permanently to New Orleans in 1983. He was an active member of the New Orleans community and a lover of arts, working with his wife at their St. Charles Avenue art gallery, Stella Jones Gallery. He was a long-time member of St. Maria Goretti Church in New Orleans East. Relatives & Friends of the Family are invited to attend Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1 P.M., at the Rhodes Chapel at 3933 Washington Ave., New Orleans. No Wake: Friends may visit after 9am on Wednesday @ Rhodes on Washington until Service Time.
